Building Surveyor

An award-winning building consultancy in the heart of the capital is looking to grow their team with the addition of a building surveyor. We are a looking for a professional who is confident in running their own schemes and programmes. You will be an ambitious and progressive individual who is motivated to achieve full chartership MRICS status.

My client is a medium sized practice who boasts employing over 25 building surveyors across the London team. The division provides accurate construction advice across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Project values range between £200k - £2 million. You the successful building surveying will be offered structured APC support led by an experienced APC councillor.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing schedules of dilapidations (landlord & tenant)
• Conducting technical due diligence and condition building surveys
• Managing refurbishment and planned maintenance programmes
• Contract administration JCT, site inspections and progress reports
• Providing technical advice and expertise to clients
• Undertaking project management duties, establishing integral relationships and liaising with external stakeholders

Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• Ideally enrolled on APC
• Minimum of 18 months in a similar role
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
