About the Role:

As Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role in the London office, leading a talented team of building surveyors while directly contributing to the delivery of complex and high-profile projects. You will be responsible for overseeing both project and professional services, including contract administration, surveys, dilapidations, and technical due diligence (TDD).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of building surveyors, ensuring their professional development, including supporting APC progression.
  • Managing client relationships, delivering high-quality services, and contributing to business development efforts to secure new projects.
  • Ensuring the team’s output meets the highest standards of quality, and promoting a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to the full range of building surveying duties, from strategic advice to technical execution.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with significant experience in managing client relationships, overseeing complex projects, and leading multidisciplinary teams. Key Requirements:

  • MRICS qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience in building surveying, with a track record in both project and professional services.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business growth.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
