About the Role:

As Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role in the London office, leading a talented team of building surveyors while directly contributing to the delivery of complex and high-profile projects. You will be responsible for overseeing both project and professional services, including contract administration, surveys, dilapidations, and technical due diligence (TDD).

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of building surveyors, ensuring their professional development, including supporting APC progression.
• Managing client relationships, delivering high-quality services, and contributing to business development efforts to secure new projects.
• Ensuring the team’s output meets the highest standards of quality, and promoting a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Taking a hands-on approach to the full range of building surveying duties, from strategic advice to technical execution.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with significant experience in managing client relationships, overseeing complex projects, and leading multidisciplinary teams. You will possess strong commercial acumen and an ability to build lasting relationships with clients, as well as a passion for mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

Key Requirements:

• MRICS qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in building surveying, with a track record in both project and professional services.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
