Our client is looking to engage an assistant project manager on a 12 month rolling contract basis. There is a solid pipeline of work, with live projects to handle from day one and help with those are going through planning stages.
About the position
Asan Assistant Project Manager you will supporting senior project managers on a variety of building and infrastructure lead projects, through to office reconfiguration as well as facilities for testing the performance of motorcars.
Your duties will include contract administration, raising PO's, liaising with other departments, attending design and project meetings, taking minutes and issuing instructions. You will take responsibility for some smaller projects and report in to more senior project managers on larger jobs, ensuring the different stages of the project are operating smoothly.
About you
You will have graduated with a construction related degree and have previous experience working within a client, consultancy or a contractor and have the drive and enthusiasm to progress your career within project management. The position is based in a client environment, working in one location, you will be embedded within the client team, so it is essential that you have solid stakeholder management and communications skills. Work to the highest levels of discretion and can work off your own initiative.
