Assistant Building Surveyor - Guildford

A UK leading commercial and residential real estate consultancy is looking to grow their Guildford based office with the addition of an Assistant Building Surveyor.

The prestigious organisation pride themselves in delivering accurate advice across the built environment. The building consultancy team plays an integral part in the success of the practice. We are looking to continue organic growth with a talented and skilled surveyor. The division is currently managing Office fit out (CAT A), schedules of dilapidations, survey schemes and PPM on commercial structures. Schemes are generally located within Surrey and the local home counties.

The role is to support the Senior Building Surveyor, this is a generic building surveying opportunity which offers exposure to all disciplines, you the successful Assistant Building Surveyor will provide tenant and landlord matters, planned maintenance programmes, reinstatement cost assessments and refurbishment projects. 

The practice has a strong emphasis on progression, you will be offered a transparent and structured APC programme with a 90% success rate. Workshops, extended study time and mock interviews are all methods used to support you achieving your Chartered MRICS status.

Assistant Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• Minimum 18 months experience in a similar role
• Ideally started APC process
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Full UK driver's licence
