Assistant Building Surveyor

A Croydon based property consultants is looking to add an Assistant Building Surveyor to their team. The successful professional will work across their wide client portfolio in the residential, commercial and education sectors. Predominately schemes are based within South London and the South-East.

My client is a medium sized organisation who prides themselves on progression and delivering accurate construction advice across the built environment. They are built on a forward thinking, friendly culture. Due recent promotions a position in the building surveying team has arisen.

The role is to support an Associate Building Surveyor with multiple million-pound schemes. You will work on a variety of building surveying disciplines which will compliment your training and development on the APC pathway. Structured support and mentorship will be offered by an experienced APC councillor.

Key responsibilities

• Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters
• Schedules of dilapidations
• Building surveys
• Reinstatement cost assessments
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Schedule of works
• Design specification
• Contract administration

Assistant Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• Previous experience in similar role
• Ideally started APC process
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Full UK driver's licence
