Architectural Revit Technician

In addition to designing manufacturing and F1 Teams facilities, educational buildings, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, defence, infrastructure, offices, and private one-off commissions, the architecture team has a wealth of experience in these areas as well, creating a diverse and exciting practise.

They now have a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished and motivated Architectural Technician to join our talented architecture team (over 100 Architects extending throughout the business), working on workplace design projects for high-profile design clients across various sectors, each presenting their own design opportunities and responses. This is due to the growing demand for their expertise.

You will be located in their office in the heart of Manchester, which employs over 80 people from a wide range of professions, including architecture, project management, cost management, building surveying, and engineering.

Responsibilities:

•       Using Revit, produce technical drawings and details, and coordinate BIM
•        As needed, assistance with creating and effectively communicating the brief to colleagues
•        Do research and create submissions for evaluation.
•        cooperate with other design team members
•        working with clients to grasp their objectives and to create and support workable solutions
•        Make that design submissions adhere to the most recent planning guidelines, construction codes, and technical standards.
•        creation of technical drawings, requirements, and comprehensive designs
•        handling issues with a sensible and logical approach, adhering to set spending limits, and meeting deadlines
•        Handling building codes and planning applications
•        On-site construction work inspection
•        Build relationships with customers to uncover more opportunities to address their problems.

Qualifications:

•        Technical design expertise
•        Significant experience in private practise
•        Revit BIM management expertise is required. Dynamo grasshopper has advantages.
•        It is advantageous to have Enscape Lumion and Rhino visualisation knowledge.
•        Ability to communicate concepts clearly and concisely in writing, orally, and graphically
•        Understanding of UK best practises
