About Our Client:

The Role:

This role has emerged in response to the surge in project wins, primarily within the commercial and private sector. The Building Surveying team comprises 22 talented individuals, ranging from Graduates to Partners, all contributing to an office of 150 dedicated professionals. The team is entrusted with overseeing projects from conception to completion, with project values reaching up to £4 million. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert advice on building pathology for residential and commercial properties.
• Ensuring compliance with the latest building regulations and technical standards.
• Offering guidance in planning applications, appeals, boundary disputes, government grants, arbitrations, and serving as an expert witness.
• Managing project specifications and contract administration.

About You:

Our client is in search of a technically proficient individual who is either chartered or nearing completion of their APC. Alternatively, if you possess a strong track record of at least 4 years in a consultancy or private practice, you will also be considered. 

Essential qualifications include a degree in building surveying, excellent communication skills, and a keen sense of commercial awareness. While experience in asset management and loss adjustment is advantageous, the primary requirement is prior experience in the private sector and a well-rounded professional profile.
