The role

There are two positions available – we can accommodate experienced recruitment consultants or Principals and both positions will be working in our Property division. The roles that you will be working on are for Building Surveyors or Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors – the clients/employers will be consultants, developers or end-users – with the bias being permanent positions. Positions are typically mid to senior level appointments.

You will work closely with the Director who has worked in the industry for in excess of 20 years, and who continues to run a desk delivering key assignments.   He will aid your progression and impart his knowledge of recruitment and the disciplines that you will work with. You will be introduced to key and long-standing relationships that you will help to support and nurture. You will be responsible for account management of some existing relationships and expected to develop your own personal business relationships. A key part of the role is candidate attraction; this will involve identification, approach work, interviewing and representation.

About you

The individuals we are looking for will more than likely be university educated and have built up experience within the recruitment industry, whether as a contingent recruiter or executive headhunter within Construction & Property,  Financial Services or another vertical.

You will have strong account management skills, be a natural problem solver who has a good memory for names, faces and numbers. You will be quietly confident, able to communicate technically challenging scenarios and be comfortable talking to non-qualified staff through to business owners.  It is essential that you have excellent communication and numeracy skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain focus. It is essential that you are resourceful, tenacious and resilient.

We work off Access Profile, using all Microsoft packages and provide an Apple Macbook Air and I-phone.

We pay a highly competitive salary, provide a pension and offer holiday of up to 25 days’ plus Christmas shut down. Commission is earned from the first penny of an introduction and up to 32% of what you bill will be payable. Monthly and quarterly incentives are coupled with regular team nights out and a summer and Christmas conference. We are head quartered near Covent Garden and offer the ability to work remotely.
